We rely on contributions from our member congregations and the regional body of our supporting denominations. Even with the generous support from these organizations, we depend on several annual fund raisers, and the contributions of individuals from the faith community.
Our purpose is to support and encourage ecumenical partnerships throughout Central Maryland and all adjacent counties west of the Chesapeake Bay, and we need staff in order to accomplish this. Our current income will not support staff, and we hope to build support to enable the position of Executive Director to be filled before the end of
this year.
Individuals, as well as congregations may support this ecumenical mission by sending a donation through PayPal or via a direct mailing of checks to our office at 5400 Loch Raven Blvd, Baltimore, MD, 21239. We are a tax exempt "association of churches."
Although we receive free office space through the Presbytery of Baltimore, we incur costs for accounting and bookkeeping, insurance (liability and officers and directors), telephone, Web site, the breakfasts and lunches we provide for the gathering of the regions' ecumenical leaders, mailings, the ecumenical services we hold, our Thanksgiving Interfaith Awards Breakfast (food, mailings, ads, awards, etc) and other program costs.
We issue an Annual Report and have our financial reports available for review at our office.
